Hi all.

This week we’re popping to another section of A Good Day to Die. I’ll let it speak for itself.

 “Sir, we have a bleeper.”

“Which sector?”

“Sian Sector. The Ultro Research Station on the edge of the Scental Cloud.”

Shona frowned. “Helm, set course for the station. Comms, notify Central Command that we’re on the job. Then hail the station.”

“Aye sir,” Sally nodded.

Shona sat down in her chair and waited. In such situations, there wasn’t much more she could do.

“Captain,” Sally said. “I’ve received an audio message. It says ‘Requesting emergency evacuation for one survivor. James Hamilton out.’”

There you go. I hope you enjoyed it.

Please pop over to the main website and see what our other authors have shared this week. Thanks for stopping by!

  1. Peter Vialls says:

The plot thickens! So is the mysterious survivor our obsolete cyborg?

  2. Not the cyborg, I think the name is wrong. But, what was the disaster leaving a single survivor? Such tantalizing snippets!
